KEITH DERRINGTON | Chief Executive Officer
As CEO Keith is responsible for the strategic leadership and management of operations for solution development and delivery of services to implement, operate and maintain energy and facility improvements. Keith has led the company’s successful delivery of cash flow positive energy solutions financed through Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE), Green Bank, utility incentive programs and other innovative funding mechanisms.
Prior to joining Recurrent Innovative Solutions, he successfully led the sales, deal structuring, financing, development, construction and operational management for $2 billion in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects under the Department of Energy’s Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC) Program, as well as for the commercial sector in the U.S. and Europe. He has developed large scale biomass, biogas, gasifier, landfill methane, solar, CHP, waste heat recovery, energy storage and microgrid projects with power purchase agreements (PPA) and ESPC deal structures.
Keith is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
PETER DROWN | Manager, Strategy & Business Development
As Manager for Strategy and Business Development, Peter is responsible for identifying and pursuing new markets for our diverse portfolio of service offerings, developing and executing growth strategies, and expanding the firm’s presence in the mid-Atlantic region to become the market leader in deep energy retrofits and building management services.
Prior to joining Recurrent Innovative Solutions, Peter assisted early-stage cleantech companies in developing and executing commercialization strategies., Peter also worked with the U.S. Department of Energy to support federally funded R&D initiatives.
Peter holds an MBA in Finance and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Maine in Orono.
RYAN FAUQUIER | Director of Building Automation Services
Ryan began his career with the company in December 2012 as a Research Analysis and Applications Engineer. In 2015, Ryan was promoted to lead the Automation and Controls group as the Director of Building Automation Systems (BAS). In this role Ryan leads the day to day and future goals of these departments, including the design and implementation of new and retrofitted systems. He also oversees a remote operations center that provides clients with 24/7 remote support and monitoring of their facilities. Prior to joining Recurrent, Ryan work at Parabel, Incorporated (Formally PetroAlgae) developing commercial scale bioreactors and controls systems for next generation biofuels and protein/feed supplements. In addition to the systems development, Ryan was deployed to provide on-site construction and start-up supervision of all test sites located in South America and Asia.
Ryan currently hold a Niagara AX&N4 certification and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida.
JOHN TINDALE | Manager, HVAC Services
As the Manager of HVAC Services, John oversees a team of HVAC technicians, pipefitters and welders in the installation, retrofit, service and maintenance of mechanical and HVAC systems. John has more than 25 years of experience in the building services and HVAC industries. In addition to his ASHRAE certification in Operations and Performance management, John is a licensed master HVAC mechanic in MD, DC and Virginia. In previous roles, John worked in all areas of HVAC and facilities maintenance, with responsibility for managing multi-trade service departments, training and hiring of on-site personnel and technical staff, and creating and implementing various preventive maintenance programs for clients throughout the DC Metropolitan area.
